Shellfish and Crustaceans

Shellfish and Crustaceans

American Lobster (Homarus Americanus) are debatably the most iconic shellfish we have here in Rhode Island. In my opinion, they taste 1000xs better than the spiny lobster they have down south. With giant claws and big meaty tails, these crustaceans are high saught after and are quite expensive. They can be found all up and down these Atlantic East Coast, but are most famous and prevalent up in Maine. I began dropping pots for lobster on my kayaks in 2023 and it is the best investment I made, they seem to be plentiful down there!
